Honestly, I hear you—Texas weather is brutal on houses. Warranties can feel like a gamble, and the fine print gets me too. Sometimes I think it’s just peace of mind you’re paying for, not real coverage. But yeah, repairs out-of-pocket at least don’t come with surprises... except maybe the bill.
