Been hearing some chatter lately about refinancing options, especially the home affordable refinance program. Got me thinking about my own mortgage situation - rates are looking pretty tempting right now, you know? But I'm kinda on the fence. Honestly, refinancing isn't always the slam dunk it's made out to be. Ran the numbers myself last year - closing costs and fees can eat up a lot of those tempting savings. Sometimes sticking with your current setup makes more sense...depends on your situation, though.
