Just finished going through the whole process of applying for one of those first-time home buyer programs. Honestly, it was kinda overwhelming at firstβtons of paperwork, calls, and waiting around. Here's what I did: researched local programs online, called a few agencies to clarify eligibility, gathered all the docs (income proof, credit info, etc.), and then submitted everything. Took about a month to get approved. Wondering if anyone's got a simpler way or some tips to make this less stressful?
