Had a similar experience last summer when my card got flagged for booking a hotel overseas—spent way too long verifying it was actually me. Biometric verification via my banking app has been smoother lately, though...definitely cuts down on the hassle.

Yeah, totally agree with this. Had my own "spy" moment last year when I bought a laptop online from an overseas site. Bank froze everything right in the middle of checkout—talk about timing. Took forever sorting it out over the phone, but once I set up face ID verification through the app, things got way easier. Glad to hear it's working better for you too; seems like banks are finally catching up tech-wise...

Had a similar thing happen when I bought furniture online from an out-of-state store. Bank flagged it instantly, locked my card, and I had to spend half an hour verifying myself over the phone. Was annoying at the time, but honestly, I'd rather deal with that minor hassle than risk someone else using my account. Since setting up fingerprint verification, though, it's been noticeably smoother...guess they're finally figuring it out.

Had a similar experience when I bought my first couch online—bank freaked out and froze my card immediately. Felt like I was being interrogated by the FBI just to confirm it was me buying furniture...but hey, better safe than sorry, right? Fingerprint verification definitely helps smooth things out.

Had something similar happen when I booked a vacation rental last summer. Bank flagged it immediately—guess they thought I was suddenly splurging beyond my usual frugal habits. Fingerprint verification is handy, sure, but honestly, I'm still a bit wary about relying too heavily on biometric stuff. Tech glitches happen, and I'd rather deal with a quick phone call than risk getting locked out completely...maybe that's just me being overly cautious though.
