- Totally get where you’re coming from. I was on the fence about the inspection too, but after hearing stories about hidden plumbing issues and weird electrical stuff, I just couldn’t shake the “what if” feeling.
- The VA appraisal felt more like a checkbox than a deep dive. It’s good for the basics, but not for peace of mind.
- Spending a bit more up front felt safer to me, especially since I’m not super handy. I’d rather know now than get hit with a big repair bill later.
- If you’re even a little worried, it’s probably worth it... that’s how I looked at it anyway.
