I hear you on the tech headaches—sometimes it feels like these “upgrades” are just new ways to lose stuff. I’ve had docs disappear into the digital void more than once. Honestly, I started snapping photos of everything on my phone, just in case. It’s not fancy, but when the lender’s portal decides to take a nap, at least I’m not scrambling. Funny how going low-tech can be the real shortcut when things get messy... especially out here where the WiFi’s as reliable as a coin toss.
Totally get where you’re coming from—sometimes the “latest and greatest” tech just adds more hoops to jump through. I’ve had clients mail or even fax docs when the portal’s down... feels old-school, but it works when WiFi’s spotty. Backups save a lot of headaches.
