Digital lenders can be a lifesaver for sure, but I'd be cautious about assuming they're always cheaper or smoother. From my experience, some digital lenders advertise convenience but then hit you with hidden fees or higher interest rates. I'd recommend doing a thorough comparison—sometimes local credit unions or smaller banks offer competitive rates and more personalized support. It might take a bit more legwork upfront, but could save you headaches (and cash) down the road... just my two cents.

Yeah, definitely worth comparing carefully. Ever run into issues with digital lenders not being able to close on time? Had a deal almost fall through once because their automated system couldn't handle a minor title hiccup... learned my lesson the hard way.

Yeah, been there myself. Digital lenders can be great for straightforward deals, but when things get tricky—like title issues or appraisal snags—you really miss having an actual human who can step in and smooth things out. Automation's handy, but it can't replace experience.

I've noticed similar things. Automated systems speed things up...until they don't. Curious though, has anyone found a good balance—like lenders who blend tech efficiency with solid human support when issues crop up? Seems rare these days.

I've actually seen a few lenders get this right lately—mostly smaller outfits or credit unions. They use tech to streamline the paperwork, but when things get sticky (and they always do...), there's a real person ready to jump in. Worth checking local options, imo.
