Haha, sounds about right... I swear mortgage companies think a branded pen or mug will distract us from escrow screw-ups. Honestly, if they spent half the swag budget on training their escrow department, we'd all sleep easier at night. Next time your escrow gets messed up, ask them directly for an escrow analysis breakdown—sometimes pushing back politely can get them to double-check their math. Worth a shot anyway.
