Just went through the whole process of transferring my mortgage to another lender, and man, it was a bit more involved than I expected. First, I had to gather all my current mortgage docs and financial statements (bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, you know the drill). Then I shopped around for better rates and terms, found a lender I liked, and submitted an application. After approval, there was appraisal, title search, and finally closing paperwork. Honestly, felt like a mini-marathon, lol. Anyone got tips or shortcuts to make this easier next time?
