Been thinking lately...what if the whole mortgage thing went fully digital? Like, no face-to-face meetings, no physical paperwork, just clicking through screens and uploading docs. I mean, convenience-wise it sounds great, but honestly I'd feel kinda nervous trusting something so huge to an app or website. Maybe I'm old-school, but mortgages are a big deal, you know? Curious how comfortable others would be with this kind of setup.

I get where you're coming fromβ€”mortgages are huge, and it feels kinda weird to handle something that big without ever shaking someone's hand or signing actual paper. But honestly, having dealt with both traditional and digital mortgage processes, I'm leaning pretty heavily towards digital these days. The convenience factor is massive, especially when you're juggling a million other things during a property purchase.

Sure, there's always that nagging feeling of "did I upload everything right?" or "is this secure enough?" But realistically, most banks and lenders already store your sensitive info digitally anyway. The face-to-face meetings are nice for reassurance, but they're not necessarily safer or more accurate. I've had paperwork misplaced in physical offices more than onceβ€”talk about nerve-wracking!

Plus, digital platforms are getting better all the time. They're designed to guide you step-by-step, and you usually have a clear record of every document and communication. So yeah, I totally understand the hesitation, but personally, I'd trust a fully digital mortgage process...as long as it's from a reputable lender with solid reviews.
