When I bought my first house, I was so excited that I overlooked some pretty big stuff. Like, I totally underestimated the cost of repairs and didn't realize how much property taxes could jump after the sale. Also, wish I'd shopped around for mortgage rates a bit more...ended up paying way more interest than necessary. Curious if anyone else had similar "oops" moments or if it's just me being clueless, haha.
