Couldn’t agree more about the missing signature thing—seen it derail deals way too many times.

If you’re not hearing back, don’t assume no news is good news.
That’s spot on. I’d add: double-check every doc before sending, even if it feels redundant. Also, don’t be afraid to push back if you sense your file’s getting buried. Some lenders are just overloaded, but sometimes a polite nudge gets things moving again. The $25k incentive is great, but you’ve gotta fight for it a bit...

Yeah, the missing signature thing is wild—one tiny slip and suddenly you’re back at square one. I’ve had docs bounce back for the smallest errors, and it’s always a scramble. About that $25k incentive, though… does anyone know if there are hidden hoops? Sometimes these programs sound great but then you find out there’s income limits or weird restrictions. I’m all for double-checking everything, but sometimes it feels like they make it complicated on purpose. Anyone actually gotten the full amount without a ton of hassle?

I hear you on the documents—one time I missed an initial on a single page and had to redo the whole packet. As for that $25k, every program I’ve seen has some kind of catch. Last year, I tried one in my state and ran into an income cap that was way lower than expected, plus you had to use a specific lender. Not impossible, but definitely not as straightforward as the ads make it sound. If you’re prepared to jump through a few hoops and keep your paperwork tight, it can work out, but I wouldn’t call it hassle-free.

That’s the understatement of the year. I once had to initial a stack of forms so thick I started questioning if my own signature was even real by the end. Those “free” $25k deals always sound like you just show up and get handed a check, but it’s more like an obstacle course with surprise pop quizzes on your tax returns. Worth it, but only if you’re ready to play paperwork detective for a month or two.

Yeah, I feel this. I went through the pre-approval process last month and the amount of stuff they wanted was wild—paystubs, bank statements, even a letter from my boss. It’s not impossible, but you’re definitely earning that $25k. Just gotta keep your docs organized and expect random curveballs.
