- Totally get what you mean about it feeling invasive.
- I thought having a solid credit score would be the hard part, but all the paperwork and explanations for every transfer? Way more stressful than I expected.
- Keeping records is key, but honestly, it’s easy to lose track if you move money around a lot.
- It’s a lot, but like you said, it does make sense once you see how careful lenders have to be.
- Guess it’s just one more thing to watch out for... makes me extra cautious about moving funds now.

Honestly, I thought refinancing would be a breeze since my credit score was solid, but the paperwork nearly did me in. Every time I moved money between accounts, it felt like I had to write a novel explaining why. I get that lenders need to be thorough, but sometimes it feels like they’re looking for reasons to say no. Now I’m paranoid about even small transfers... just in case someone asks for a six-month paper trail. It’s wild how much more goes into this than just your score.

- Been there. My credit was fine, but the underwriter still wanted every detail about my savings and transfers.
- Honestly, the whole “credit score is king” thing is kind of a myth. It’s just one piece, and sometimes it feels like the least stressful part.
- I started second-guessing stuff like splitting bills or moving cash between checking and savings. Paranoid’s the right word.
- At this point, I keep screenshots of everything... just in case. It’s overkill, but you never know what they’ll ask for next.

It’s wild, right? I remember thinking my 800+ score would make things a breeze, but nope—the underwriter wanted to know why I’d moved $500 from savings to checking. Like, “Uh... groceries?” It’s like they want a diary entry for every transaction.

Yeah, it’s kind of nuts how much they dig, right? I used to think once you hit that magic score, you’d just get a handshake and the keys. But nope—every deposit, every transfer, they want a backstory. Ever had them ask about a Venmo payment from six months ago? I swear, sometimes I wonder if they’re bored or just looking for drama. Makes you rethink moving money around at all...
