Reissue rates are definitely one of those “if you know, you know” things. I’ve had title companies act like they’re doing me a huge favor, but it’s literally their job. Still, a few hundred bucks is nothing to sneeze at. Have you ever gotten pushback on survey fees too? I had one deal where they tried to charge double because of “rush processing”—total nonsense, but I pushed back and they knocked it down.
