Sometimes “cheapest” ends up costing more in stress.
Honestly, I’m feeling that already. My lender’s rates looked good on paper, but their customer service is a mess. Half the time, I’m not even sure who’s handling my loan now. If I could do it over, I’d pick someone local or at least a company with a real person on the line. Saving $20 a month isn’t worth the hassle for me.
