So, I'm kinda in a pickle here. Had to file bankruptcy about two years ago (long story, medical bills and some dumb decisions, you know how it goes). Anyway, things are finally looking up and I'm thinking about buying a house using my VA loan benefit. I've heard mixed things about how long you gotta wait after bankruptcy before they'll approve you. Curious what others' experiences have been—how long did you wait before applying? Quick poll below:
