Fair point, but honestly, I went through the High LTV refi last year and it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Yeah, paperwork was annoying, but monthly savings added up quicker than I expected...worth reconsidering IMO.

True, refinancing can work, but keep in mind it isn't free - closing costs, appraisal fees, etc. I'd run the numbers carefully first. Sometimes paying more upfront actually saves you headaches (and cash) down the road...
