Been seeing a lot of talk lately about interest rates bouncing around, and honestly, I'm a bit lost. Bought our house about 5 years ago and our rate isn't terrible, but it's definitely not as low as some friends have managed to snag recently. Thing is, I'm hearing mixed thingsβsome people saying rates might dip again soon, others saying they're just gonna keep climbing for a while.
I mean, refinancing sounds great in theory, lower monthly payments and all that jazz, but then there's the closing costs and fees...ugh. Not sure if it's worth it right now or if I should just sit tight and hope for better rates later on. Anyone been through this recently or have some good insight? I'm not exactly a financial wizard here, so any advice or personal experiences would be super helpful.
