"That said, some lenders still manage to make it feel like pulling teeth."

Haha, seriously...some lenders treat paperwork like it's their favorite hobby. IRRRLs are generally smoother, but I've still had underwriters randomly asking for docs I didn't even know existed. Always an adventure...

Haha, totally get you on that one.

Honestly, I swear some of these underwriters must have a secret checklist titled "Random Docs to Request When Things Seem Too Easy." 😂 I've heard IRRRLs are supposed to be straightforward, but every now and then you hit that one lender who makes you wonder if you're refinancing or applying for NASA clearance.

Hang in there though—once you're through the paperwork gauntlet, the savings can be pretty sweet. Had a buddy who refinanced his VA loan recently and ended up dropping his rate significantly. He joked afterward that the stress probably shaved a few months off his life expectancy, but at least he can afford better beer now... priorities, right?

Haha, that NASA clearance line cracked me up... seriously though, you're spot on about the paperwork maze. Had a client recently go through a VA refi, and yeah, it felt endless, but he was pretty stoked once it wrapped up. Hang tight, it'll be worth it.

Haha, the NASA clearance comparison is gold... honestly, VA refis can feel like assembling IKEA furniture without instructions—confusing at first, but satisfying once done. Curious, did your client see a big drop in their monthly payments or mostly just better terms overall?
