I've been considering heated floors myself, but I'm still debating if they're worth the extra cost. Did your clients mention noticing any big difference on their electricity bill? I mean, comfort sounds amazing, especially in winter...but I'm curious if the ongoing expenses are manageable. Definitely agree though, if you're already tearing up the tiles, might as well consider it seriously. Thanks for sharing your experience, helps to hear real-world feedback.

Had heated floors in our last place—comfort was spot-on, but yeah, bills did creep up noticeably during colder months. Not outrageous, but enough to make you pause. Worth weighing carefully if budget's tight.

Fair point, but honestly, it depends a lot on the system and how you manage it. I've installed heated floors in several properties now, and I've noticed that if you invest upfront in quality insulation and a programmable thermostat, the monthly costs aren't as scary as people think. Sure, there's an initial pinch in the wallet, but long-term savings can balance things out nicely.

Also, consider zoning—no need to heat every inch of flooring if you're mostly using certain rooms. I had a client who only heated their master bath and kitchen area regularly, and their bills barely budged. It's all about being strategic with your setup. Comfort doesn't always have to mean breaking the bank...just gotta plan smartly from the start.
