Heated floors are definitely a nice touch, but I'd caution against assuming exterior improvements always outweigh interior upgrades. I've seen bathroom remodels significantly increase value, especially if they're outdated. It really depends on local market preferences and buyer expectations...every neighborhood's different.

Couldn't agree more. When we redid our kitchen, everyone kept saying exterior curb appeal was king. But funny enough, the updated kitchen ended up sealing the deal when we sold. Guess folks around here just really love their countertops...
Interesting how that played out for you. Did you notice if buyers commented specifically on the kitchen during showings, or was it more subtle? Sometimes it's hard to pinpoint exactly what sways someone's decision...

True, but honestly, in my experience, buyers usually aren't subtle about kitchens. If they love it, you'll hear about it right awayβsame goes if they hate it. But I'd argue that financing options like rural loans often tip the scales more than aesthetics. I've seen plenty of buyers compromise on kitchen style if the numbers line up nicely. Kitchens matter, sure...but affordability and loan perks can seal the deal faster than granite countertops ever could.

Haha, isn't that the truth? Ever seen someone hug their loan officer after closing? I have. Granite countertops never got that kinda love...
