When I was buying my first home last summer, I thought I had everything budgeted out pretty well. But then, like two days before signing, my agent casually mentions these extra fees and costs that I had no idea about. I mean, it wasn't a huge amount, but still enough to make me scramble a bit, you know? Felt kinda blindsided. Has this happened to anyone else, or was I just super unlucky?
