Honestly, I get where you’re coming from—tech issues can be a real headache, especially when you’re on a deadline. But I’ve noticed that once you get your digital system sorted, it does make life easier. I’ve had my fair share of portal crashes and lost emails, but having everything backed up (and labeled right) has saved me more than once. It’s not perfect, but it beats digging through piles of paperwork any day.

Totally get that. I remember trying to refinance one of my properties in Dallas a couple years back and the lender’s portal just... stopped working mid-upload. I was scrambling, thinking I’d have to redo everything. Ended up finding all my docs in a random Dropbox folder from months before—talk about luck. Still, sometimes I wonder if old-school paper files were less stressful, even if they took up half my office.

Honestly, I’ve had similar headaches with digital portals—sometimes they glitch at the worst possible moment. What’s helped me is keeping a backup folder (cloud and USB) with all my key docs, just in case. Not perfect, but it’s saved me from starting over more than once. Paper files were a pain, but at least they didn’t randomly disappear...

Honestly, I hear you on the digital headaches—nothing like uploading the same W-2 three times because the portal “lost” it. I’ve seen folks get tripped up right at closing because a doc vanished into the ether. Backups are a lifesaver, but I still miss the days when you could just hand someone a folder and be done. That said, at least with digital, you don’t have to worry about coffee stains or your dog eating your tax returns... small wins, I guess.

Yeah, I get what you mean—digital can be a pain when things just disappear. I’ve had to re-send pay stubs more than once because the upload “didn’t go through.” Still, I’ll take that over losing a folder in my car or spilling coffee on it. One thing that helps me is keeping everything in a cloud folder, just in case. Not perfect, but at least I know where stuff is... most of the time.
