Like you said, everyone's situation varies, but having someone who really gets the specifics can save headaches (and money) down the line.

Haha, I feel this one. I once confidently dove into DIY credit repair—thought it was just sending a few letters and waiting—but quickly learned the hard way that niche expertise matters. Sometimes it's worth paying someone who knows the ropes to avoid those facepalm moments...

I've always handled my rentals' taxes myself, but after a recent audit scare (turned out fine, thankfully...), I'm reconsidering. Curious—anyone here ever DIY'd taxes and regretted it later?

Been there, done that... and never again. A few years ago, I DIY'ed mine and missed out on deductions I didn't even know existed. Now I pay a pro—worth every penny for peace of mind alone.
