Yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing. I closed a couple of old cards before I started house hunting, and my score dipped maybe 5 points? Nothing wild. I do get why people stress about it, though—when you’re about to buy, every little number feels huge. But honestly, if a card’s costing you money or you’re not using it, sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle. Peace of mind is underrated.
