Last month, we finally found our dream home, and everything seemed perfect. But now we're stuck in this weird limbo waiting for the underwriter to approve our mortgage. It's been almost two weeks of silence, then suddenly random questions pop up about bank statements from forever ago or some tiny detail I never even thought mattered. I'm getting a bit anxious here...has anyone else dealt with this kind of back-and-forth? How long did your approval take?
