- Bi-weekly payments definitely help, but honestly, it's not the only way to tackle interest-heavy loans.
- Have you considered just adding a bit extra to your regular monthly payment instead? I tried bi-weekly for a while, but found it easier mentally to round up my monthly payments.
- It gave me similar results without having to track multiple payments each month... less hassle overall.
- Curious if anyone else found bi-weekly payments more complicated than helpful?

I can see why bi-weekly payments might seem like more hassle than they're worth. I've worked with clients who swear by them, but honestly, I've always been a bit skeptical myself. From my perspective, the real advantage comes from consistently paying more toward principal—whether you do that bi-weekly or monthly probably doesn't make a massive difference in the long run.

I agree with your approach of rounding up the monthly payments. It feels simpler and easier to manage mentally, and I've seen plenty of folks successfully chip away at their loans this way. Plus, keeping track of fewer payments each month is definitely less stressful. It's great you're finding a method that works better for your situation.

At the end of the day, the best strategy is one you can stick with comfortably over time. Sounds like you're on the right track already...

Totally get where you're coming from with the bi-weekly thing—honestly, who wants to keep track of even more payments? But have you tried using one of those online calculators to see exactly how much faster you'd pay off your loan by rounding up each month? I did that once and was surprised how motivating it was seeing the numbers laid out clearly. Might be worth a quick look if you're feeling stuck...

I actually did something similar a while back—rounded up my monthly payments after checking one of those calculators. It didn't seem like much at first, but after a year, I noticed a decent dent in the principal. Definitely worth considering if you're feeling stuck.

Yeah, rounding up can help a bit, but have you considered refinancing instead? Depending on your rate, it might make a bigger difference long-term... or have you already looked into that?
