Just learned that inspectors don't actually check behind walls or under floors, so hidden issues can still pop up later... kinda unsettling, you know? Curious if anyone else ran into surprises after moving in.

Yeah, I totally get that uneasy feeling. When we moved in, everything seemed fine until about two months later—we discovered some old wiring behind the drywall during a minor reno. Definitely wasn't expecting that expense... guess it's always a bit of a gamble!
