A couple years back, my cousin was struggling with foreclosure and honestly, it was pretty rough. But one thing that really helped was reaching out to local housing counseling agencies. They're usually free or low-cost and can negotiate with lenders on your behalfβsomething we didn't even know existed at first. Made a huge difference, you know? Curious if anyone else has found other helpful resources or tips for dealing with foreclosure situations...

Yeah, those agencies can be helpful, but sometimes they're hit or miss. My friend went through foreclosure last year and actually found a local community group on Facebook that shared resourcesβturned out pretty useful. Glad things worked out for your cousin, though...that's tough stuff.
