Feeling lost navigating all these home buying assistance options for next year
I've been trying to figure out how to buy my first place sometime in 2024, and honestly, it's making my head spin. Every site I check seems to have different info about assistance programs - some are state-specific, some federal, some banks even have their own thing going on. I'm starting to feel like you need a PhD just to understand the eligibility rules. Anyone else feeling overwhelmed or confused by all this info floating around?

Yeah, totally get where you're coming from - when I bought my first place a few years back, the sheer amount of programs out there was nuts. One thing that helped me was talking directly to a mortgage broker; they knew which programs actually made sense for my situation and saved me tons of headaches.
