Good point about homebuying examples, but do you think it always clicks that easily? I've had a few clients who still struggled even after the mortgage analogy... maybe it's just me, but sometimes escrow stays tricky no matter how relatable the example.

Yeah, I hear you—escrow can definitely be one of those concepts that just doesn't click for everyone, no matter how clear the analogy seems. I've had similar experiences myself. Sometimes, clients get hung up on the idea of money being held by a third party, or they just can't quite grasp why it's necessary in their specific situation.

Have you noticed if there's a particular part of escrow that trips your clients up more often? For instance, is it the timing of payments, the role of the escrow agent, or maybe the idea of funds being "locked away"? I've found that pinpointing exactly what's causing confusion can help me tailor my explanations better. Curious if you've seen any patterns with your clients...

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that too. Had one client who just couldn't shake the feeling that escrow meant their money was somehow "stuck" or inaccessible. It wasn't even about trust issues with the agent—more like a psychological barrier about losing direct control. Once I reframed it as a safeguard rather than a restriction, things clicked better. Funny how wording can make all the difference...

Had a similar experience once—client kept joking escrow was like handing cash to a stranger and hoping they'd still be there when you turned around, haha. Took some gentle reassurance (and a few analogies) before they felt comfortable enough to move forward...

Haha, I've had clients say escrow feels like tossing money into a wishing well and hoping it doesn't vanish. Usually helps when I compare it to a referee holding the ball—neutral party, just there to keep things fair. Seems to click better that way...
