Been there... learned the hard way. A quick tip: scan everything important and keep digital backups. Saves a ton of stress later, especially when lenders suddenly ask for random docs you never expected.
Scanning is useful, but a lender’s review can still get messy if everything lands in one large folder. For future applicants, would a dated structure such as `2025-04 Income`, `Assets`, `Debts`, and `Explanations` make the digital backup easier to follow? I’d keep the original filenames and avoid editing PDFs, since unexplained gaps or altered documents can trigger more questions than a missing scan.
