I’ve been through the refinance process a couple times now, and even with a solid credit score, it felt like I was sending in the same pay stubs and bank statements over and over. The rate was better, sure, but the paperwork grind didn’t really change. Has anyone actually seen a lender skip steps or make things noticeably smoother just because of a high score? Or is it always the same checklist, no matter what?
