Honestly, never thought I'd be the one posting something like this, but here goes...a year ago I was drowning in debt, feeling pretty hopeless and overwhelmed. You know how it is—credit cards piling up, bills overdue, and that sinking feeling every time the phone rings. Anyway, a friend nudged me toward trying out a financial counseling service. At first I was skeptical (I mean, who wouldn't be?), but figured I had nothing left to lose.

Long story short, it turned out to be exactly what I needed. They helped me figure out budgeting stuff, negotiate with creditors, and even guided me through the whole bankruptcy counseling process. It wasn't easy or quick—took months of discipline and tough decisions—but yesterday I finally made my last payment and can officially say I'm debt-free. Feels kinda surreal tbh.

Curious if anyone else here has been through something similar? Would love to hear your stories or tips on staying financially healthy after getting back on track.
