I recently started looking into mortgage companies and man, it's been a ride. One lender had great rates but their customer service was a nightmare... another was super friendly but their terms were meh. Curious if anyone else has run into this kinda thing?

Yeah, sounds familiar. I remember when I first started shopping around, I found a lender whose rates looked amazing on paper—but then it was like pulling teeth to get clear answers about fees and closing costs. On the flip side, another lender was super transparent and helpful, but their rates made my wallet cry. Makes you wonder...is there even such a thing as a perfect balance, or is compromise just part of the mortgage game?
