Yeah, learned that lesson myself the hard way... thought I was being clever skipping the survey, until I found out half my driveway technically belonged to the neighbor. Awkward conversations and a few pizzas later, we sorted it—but man, never again.
Yikes, glad pizza diplomacy worked out for you! Surveys are definitely worth it—same goes for title checks. A quick check can save you from surprise liens or boundary headaches later... learned that one myself fixing my credit. Better safe than sorry, right?
