Figuring out my budget: stretch for the dream house or play it safe?

Been crunching numbers lately and I'm kinda stuck between two options. Option A is this really nice place - checks almost all my boxes, great neighborhood, but it's definitely at the top end of what I can afford. Option B is more affordable, still decent, but I'd have to compromise on a few things (smaller yard, older kitchen, you know...). Curious if anyone else faced this dilemma and how you decided between stretching your budget or playing it safe?
